SAMMY HAGAR Visits 'The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson': Video Available
July 28, 2006Sammy Hagar was on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on Thursday (July 27). Hagar, dressed all in red, talked about life in Cabo, if VAN HALEN will reunite, and then when David Lee Roth's name came up, Craig was implying Roth was gay — saying his "joyous meter" was going off from the original VAN HALEN singer's recent appearance on his program. SAMMY HAGAR AND THE WABOS's new album, entitled "Livin' It Up", is scheduled for release on July 25 via Rhino Records.
Written over the past year at his home in Cabo San Lucas, the album features original songs such as "One Sip and You'll Surrender" and "The Way We Live", as well as a rocking honky-tonk cover of TOBY KEITH's "I Love This Bar" and his version of the STAPLE SINGERS' "I'll Take You There", according to Billboard.com.
Sammy Hagar is doing double duty while on tour this summer. He's playing a full set with his band the WABORITAS, and he's also doing a full-on VAN HALEN performance with THE OTHER HALF, which includes VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony and WABOS guitarist Vic Johnson and drummer David Lauser.
